Miller Guy - Photography

My name is Guy Miller (AKA Miller G), I'm a 34 years old a private Chef. I currently live in Tel Aviv, a crowded city in Israel.

My artwork is photography, and my inspirations range from old houses, popular buildings, strange things and beautiful landscapes.

Artist Statement: I'm a photographer who combines tradition and innovation. In fact for my work I use this days a digital camera and digitally processing techniques. Digitally processing is a new method in color photography where you have your on darkroom lab on your PC/MAC. Photography is an absolute passion. I am fascinated by urban decay. I have long been fascinated by the unique properties of natural light and suppose I regard quality of light and composition as the single most important element in my photography.

I find inspiration in the world near my home and in my immediate environment. I'm interested in investigating things from different perspectives, angles and colors. In particular I do love color.

I like A simple, clean and refined approach with a strong emphasis on color tone and the perfect composition. Doing photography is for me the result of these elements. My work is a constant evolution and interplay between color studies and conceptually based series, all of which are open to personal interpretation.

For those who are interested the gear I use, So I shoot with a Canon EOS 20D as my primary body.

But remember the art is not in the gear. And I always say "is not with what you shoot is how you shoot".
